Providing a quality education to students
in need is at the heart of Monarch School. Ours is a unique, highly-focused
educational program, designed with the special needs of our kids in
mind.
Accredited and Standardized
A Monarch education is also an accredited part of the Juvenile Court
and Community Schools under the San Diego County Office of Education
(SDCOE). We provide the same, standardized full curriculum as provided
by the County School system. Our students are able to earn a high
school diploma or its equivalent. Monarch is also accredited by the
Western Area Schools and Colleges (WASC) and is staffed by fully credentialed
teachers.
Special Programs
In addition to meeting the standards set by the SDCOE, our students’
curriculum is supplemented by additional educational opportunities.
These include the many student-specific supportive programs provided
by tutors and mentors, and by Monarch’s many educationally-enriching
Programs.
Teachers and Staff
Administrators for the SDCOE in partnership with the Monarch School
Project take great care in hiring our teachers and staff. All Monarch
teachers are fully credentialed by the State of California Department
of Education. ^ Top
