The Ragnar Relay SoCal is a 200-mile relay race from Huntington Beach to San Diego in which teams of 12 test their athletic stamina and rely one another for support over the course of 2 days. Team members each run 3 legs of the race. Legs vary in difficulty level and range from 3-8 miles. All types of runners participate each year, from the novice to the world-class athlete. Ragnar takes place April 4-5, 2014.
How can I get involved?
The 2013 Ragnar event raised $350,000 for Monarch School. For the 2014 race we hope to sign up 100 teams with the goal of raising $1 million! Each team is asked to raise $6,000 ($500 per runner) and is provided with a link to set up a customized team fundraising web page that accepts and tracks donations. For more information about teams and fundraising contact Joy Parkes at RagnarTeams@monarchschools.org or 858-336-9971.
